Crookwell Show Report 2011

Our local show was held on the 12th and 13th of February. Luckily we had nice sunny weather for both days, for the past two years its poured rain!

We took our bull LC Flick and our steers LC Bert and LC Yosamite Sam. They were all pretty good on the day, the steers were in a class of six. They were both the lightest and smallest in the class. The judge made his comments and said he liked Yo Sam’s muscle but needed a bit more fat cover, which we both agree on too. He said Bert needed a little more fat cover before we take them to Sydney Royal Show in April.

Flick did fabulously; he won his class, Then he went up against Mala-Daki Bull Dozer E421 for Junior Champion and I guess the best bull won on the day!!

Mala-Daki won Grand Champion Bull with Mala-Daki Crocket D377, oh well  just wait till we beat them next month at the Dubbo Beef Spectacular!
